It’s Not Milk

Written in response to the post above

It’s not milk,
it’s impregnated mothers
It’s stolen babies

It’s not milk,
It’s cow baby food
for a calf missing their mother
or missing their heartbeat

It’s not milk,
It’s growth hormones,
antibiotics, blood,
and an acceptable
amount of puss

It’s not milk,
It’s a system of suffering
we hide under white mustaches

It’s not milk,
It’s deception
It’s denial
It’s delusion

It’s not milk,
At least not ours
